Immigration Course -- Fall 1997

It's that time of the year again. The IC is here!!!

The primary goals of the IC are to meet the faculty and their research, and the culture of the CMU Computer Science Department.
We hope that you take the most advantage of this opportunity, learn a lot, and enjoy these three intense weeks!

To start with, here is a pointer to some helpful tidbits about the School of Computer Science.

Brian Noble's Graduate Student Survival Page can be found here

Darrell Kindred's "How to Compute Like a Grad Student" talk is also on the web here

I'm putting in links to directions where I have them, but new students might also like to look at the Online Map of Pittsburgh.
As a general guide, new students might also like to look at the Fun Stuff Page off the SCS Internal Home Page.

All the sessions are in Wean 5409, unless otherwise specified.
