Aspect Medical A-2000

The Aspect Medical A-2000 is a system used to measure the level of consciousness of patients under anesthesia. This device is used by experts who need to have precise control over small changes of information represented on the display.

This was an early on project where I helped design and build the UI for the product. We used Asymmetrix ToolBook to construct the prototype of the interface. I worked on the graphical design and also on some basic programming.

The design won the inaugural Design & Business Catalyst award in 2002, the first annual award to measure the business success stories of design.
