I graduated with a BSE in computer science from
the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 and
then worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory
for two years. In August 2006, I started a Ph.D. program in
the Language Technologies Institute
at Carnegie Mellon University.
My advisor is Noah Smith and the web page for our group is here.
My research interests include machine translation, natural language processing, and machine learning.
I am involved with the INCA project,
which seeks to develop algorithms and tools that leverage distributed computing for machine translation research.
(Months before the project started, I went on a fact-finding mission to Peru.
Too bad the NSF didn't fund the trip!)
