Overview
The Tea Trolls Tea Time is a weekly event sponsored by freecsd. Each week the Tea Trolls prepare 3
different varieties of tea, carefully ensuring that at least one pot contains
caffeine and at least one pot does not. Many different types of teas are
prepared including black, green, white, rooibos (red), and herbal teas in
both traditional and non-traditional forms.
Tea is every Monday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. It continues over the summer,
breaks, and holidays as long as at least one Tea Troll is available to run Tea.
Each week a reminder e-mail is sent to all the regular Tea Drinkers including
which teas will be served. If you would like to receive these e-mails, you can
join the mailing list for the weekly reminder.
Tea Resources
For all those prospective tea trolls out there, or even those who just
want to try out some tea without having to mess with the whole troll
business, here are a few short tea making tips. If you really want to
know more we recommend checking out Wikipedia's page on Tea.
There are several types of very common teas out there upon which most other tea types are
based. In the tea list below you will notice that after each tea we write
the type of tea. Most teas you can buy are just mixes or variations on a small
number of types of tea. For your convenience we list some of the common types of tea below and
how to brew them.
