About Me

I'm a graduate student in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. My research interests are in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) as it applies to Security applications. Specifically, I am interested in further understanding how people control access to their resources through the design, creation and implementation of policy for both individual devices and larger environments.

I am a member of the Cylab Usable Privacy and Security (CUPS) lab. I am also associated with the User Controllable Security and Privacy group and the IBM Open Collaborative Research Initiative.

I run The Tea Trolls Tea Time a weekly social event that lets Computer Science graduate students get to know each other better over a nice cup of tea. To satisfy my craftier side I weave and dance. I also maintain a blog.
