GSURF (A simple 3D surface mesh viewer)

GSURF is a simple 3D surface mesh viewer for Windows and Linux. Currently, it supports OBJ, TRI (an in-house surf mesh format),  and an XML format for MOPED models. You can load multiple surface models, edit by rotating, translating, and scaling, and save the changed model.

Compiling and Running:

• Windows (Prerequisites: CMAKE and Visual Studio must be installed.)
  
1. Extract the zipped source code to a folder.
2. Double-click runcmake_win.bat to create 'build' for Visual Studio.
3. Open 'build/gsurf.sln' in Visual Studio.
4. Select 'Release' mode and press 'F7' for building solution.
5. Run 'build/Release/gsurf.exe'.
• Linux (Tested with Ubuntu)
  
1. Extract the zipped source code to a directory and move in to the directory.
2. >> make install_dependencies_ubuntu (for installing necessary prerequisites such as cmake and freeglut)
3. >> make (for compiling the source code)
   
4. >> ./gsurf (to run gsurf)
