My research is focused in machine learning algorithms in environments where new data is continuously obtained. These sort of learning algorithms, usually called on-line or incremental, are required to scan data only once, use a fixed amount of memory irrespective to the number of data records, use a small constant time to process each record, make an usable model at any point in time and (obviously) obtain a model that is equivalent to the one that would be obtained using a batch algorithm.

More concretely, I am working in incremental learning of Bayesian network structures in two different environments. One, when the underling probability of data does not change over time and the other when it does change.
