You can download the software here in tar, gzipped format.
The makefiles are set up so that you only need to do a "make" in the top level "rtkit/src" directory. This will create the binary bin/itcl that is the main program. It also creates a test program called simulator that implements one example of a railroad cross with traffic lights.
You need to have installed flex bison and bison++ for the package to compile.
To clean up the compilation you can do a "make cleanall" in the top level directory.
The general structure of the actual implementation can be seen in figure 1. To see the options running itcl and simulator use option –h or check the README files in the src directories.
