I am a PhD student at the Language Technologies Institute in the School of Computer Science, advised by Noah Smith, Chris Dyer, and Jaime Carbonell.

My research interests lie in the areas of structured prediction, machine learning, and natural language processing. I work to make computers understand natural language better (semantic parsing) and to help people who speak different languages communicate (machine translation).

Recently, my collaborators and I developed one of the first successful machine learning methods for training machine translations systems with millions of parameters.

Even more recently, we released the first semantic parser for AMR.
