I am a Systems Scientist in Computer Science Department. I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Robotics Institute at School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University.
I have been affiliated with several research groups in CMU. In Human Computer Interaction Institute, I worked on text detection and translation. I developed a fully automatic, real time system for text detection and translation from natural scenes.
In Face Analysis group, Robotics Institute, I worked on stabilization of human face using 3D tracking, and 3D human face modeling.
In HumanID (Human Identification at a Distance) group, Robotics Institute, I worked on human motion and upper body gesture detection, tracking, and recognition.
My research works are focused on three areas: Computer vision, image processing /pattern recognition, statistical modeling and estimation.
