- Hans Zimmer - Favorite film music composer. Favorite cues: Journey to the Line (The Thin Red Line), Leave No Man Behind (Black Hawk Down), Cameroon Border Post (Tears of the Sun), Woad To Ruin (King Arthur).
- Nobuo Uematsu - Final Fantasy music composer. Favorite cues: Aeris' Theme [Piano] (FFVII), Advent: One Winged Angel (FFVII:AC), Suteki Da Ne [Orchestral] (FFX). And Eternity ~Memory of Lightwaves~ [Piano] (FFX-2), though not a Uematsu cue.
- Joe Hisaishi - Composer for Hayao Miyazaki's films. Favorite cues: Journey to the West (Princess Mononoke), The Girl Who Fell from the Sky (Laputa: Castle in the Sky), The Dragon Bay (Spirited Away), The Sixth Station (Spirited Away).
- Howard Shore - If for nothing else but LOTR.
- Other Composers - Media Ventures, Craig Armstrong, Brian Tyler, Danny Elfman, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith (but not a big fan of John Williams).
