Overall, this laptop seems to offer very good linux compatibility with two caveats:

One other minor drawback is that a dongle is required for the VGA-out. There seems to be little reason for this since sufficient space exists to support a full vga-out connector.

In general, the laptop seems excellent. It is very difficult (and maybe impossible) to find a more adaptable, small, long battery-life laptop.
