Surprisingly, much of the meaning behind written language is preserved even when the ordering of the individual words is lost. Knowing only that a document contains the words "love" or "science" can reveal a great deal about its essence. Conversely, words such as "in," "the" and "of" reveal little. Computers use this simple idea to overcome their inability to understand language as humans do. The piece challenges the viewer to draw conclusions about a document without knowing the original order of the words.
