Getting to know CHIP: take some measurements!
It's time for you to take some vital measurements
from CHIP. Your first job is to learn what kind of traction CHIP has
and to figure out how fast CHIP turns and moves forward. Measure CHIP's
speeds in centimeters per second and degrees per second. How do you measure
traction? Make a slope and see how big of a slope CHIP can climb! Remember,
measure the slope's angle as RISE divided by RUN.
Time to measure up CHIP:
Measure CHIP's forward and backward speeds in centimeters per second
Find out how fast CHIP can turn, in degrees per second
How steep of a slope can CHIP climb? Does the material make a difference?
