The Principal Investigator's dissertation work designed, implemented, and evaluated the TraderBots framework for market-based coordination of robot teams operating in dynamic and unstructured environments.
  • We build on work done in our last 5-year contract with the Boeing company that extended the TraderBots framework to coordinate human-robot teams executing tightly-coordinated tasks.
  • One of the Principal Investigator's other projects (funded by the Qatar National Research Fund) is designing, implementing, and evaluating coordination tools for disaster response that include tools for distributed control of large teams, and centralized optimized control of smaller sub-teams. We are employing market-based and Operations Research based algorithms for this work.
