3 Experiment on the Simple Model

In this section, we discuss our evaluation of the performance of the simple model. We first give give some data about the performance of compression module and network module, then discuss the experiments for data transmission with and without compression. We will see that the simple model could give very accurate judgment on whether or not to use compression. But we also notice the significant difference between the predicted values and the measured values, which we think is due to the defect of the simple model. In Section 4, we explain the causes of the prediction error and propose an improved model for making predictions.
