SCS Email (Corvid)

About

Corvid is the main E-Mail system for the School of Computer Science. As such, all SCS members are strongly encouraged to use Corvid as their primary E-Mail system. The Corvid system features include:

  • A 2 GB email quota.
  • An easy-to-use webmail interface
  • Server-side spam filtering
  • Customized mail-handling scripts (using the Sieve scripting language)
  • Mailing list creation (using Mailman)
  • Support for both IMAP and POP
  • Support for Microsoft Exchange

Accounts

If you are a new member of the SCS community, you should already have an account on the Corvid system. If you are not a new SCS member, you can contact the SCS Facilities Help Desk by sending email to help@cs.cmu.edu or calling 412-268-4231 to see if you have a Corvid account.

You can access your SCS email using a traditional email program, the webmail interface, or both.
