Visual Numerics: IMSL and JMSL

Computing Services has an unlimited license for the IMSL FORTRAN Numerical Libraries, the IMSL FORTRAN 90 MP Library, IMSL Exponent Graphics, the IMSL C Numerical Libraries, the IMSL C++ Object Suite, and JMSL for most Unix platforms and Windows.

License holder: Computing Services.
Quantity licensed: Unlimited.
Available for: Unix (including Linux), Windows.
Who can install it: Departmental computing support personnel.
Eligible equipment: University owned/leased computers.
Type of license: Perpetual; October maintenance renewal.
Cost to users: The cost of this license is shared by the departments who use IMSL.
Getting access to it: Email software@andrew.cmu.edu. In your email, include the OS type.
How to get it: Borrow CD from Software Manager, CyH 262.
License code required: Yes. It is sent to departments that share the cost of this license.
Getting help using it: Email questions to software@andrew.cmu.edu for referral to Visual Numerics Technical Support.
Restrictions: Software can be used for academic, non-commercial purposes only. Access to the Computing Services license server is required for this product.
Individual use rights available upon termination: None. All copies must be deleted upon termination of affiliation with the University.
