  • Quantity licensed: Unlimited.
  • Available for: MacOS, Unix, Windows.
  • Who can install it: Faculty, staff, graduate students.
  • Eligible equipment: University owned/leased and personally owned computers on campus/at home.
  • Type of license: Perpetual; September 1 maintenance renewal.
  • Cost to users: None.
  • Getting access to it: No special access is required.
  • How to get it: Download Windows version from \\Monolith\pc_dist or MyAndrew. Download MacOS version from MyAndrew. For Unix versions, subscribe to the collection via depot.
  • License code required: Yes. It is sent in email upon request to software@andrew.cmu.edu. Include the OS type and Maple version number in your email.
  • Getting help using it: Email questions to software@andrew.cmu.edu for referral to Maplesoft. Staff and faculty can ask to be placed on the list of those eligible to call Maplesoft for technical support.
  • Restrictions: Software can be used for academic, non-commercial purposes only.
  • Individual use rights available upon termination: None. All copies must be deleted upon termination of affiliation with the University.
