Installing Symantec Endpoint Protection

SCS Computing Facilities is committed to providing the most current Symantec Anti-Virus software. Therefore the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection has been made available for Windows and Mac users.

Some users may already have the most recent version of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) installed on their computer. If so, no further action is required. To determine if the most recent version of SEP is already installed on your computer, go to our Help Pages at: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~help/security/symantec-check.html

Windows:

Users may also choose to install the latest version of SEP for Windows. The new SEP installer is available at:   https://monolith.scs.ad.cs.cmu.edu/pc_dist/symantec/

Mac:

Mac users are encouraged to visit the link below and install the latest version of SEP for Mac. The new SEP installer is available at:  https://monolith.scs.ad.cs.cmu.edu/mac_dist/symantec/

You will need your SCS credentials to login (i.e. SCS\username).
