Installing the driver for the printers Rainbow2COLOR
In order to print properly on Rainbow2COLOR the following steps should be taken to load the driver:
- From the Finder's menu bar, select the Go then select Connect to Server.
- Enter the Server Address: smb://monolith.srv.cs.cmu.edu/mac_dist.
- Click on Connect.
- Connect as Registered User using your SCS username and your Windows domain password, and select Connect.
- Navigate to /Rainbow2COLOR Printer Driver/Printer Driver/OSX installer/
- Double click the OSX installer application file and follow the instructions to install.
Changing the driver to E-7000 PS US
- Select the driver from System Preferences/Print & Fax
- Select the printer then click the Printer Setup
- Select the Printer Model
- Select the Ricoh drivers
- Select E-7000 PS US and then Apply Changes
