SCS Computing Facilities Announces Support for Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.x, Changes to Printing and more...

SCS Computing Facilities is pleased to announce support for Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.x. Prior to installing /upgrading to Mavericks, be sure to review our compatibility page to make sure your installed software is Mavericks compatible:

In addition, as part of the standard SCS Mac OS baseline installation, we are now offering the JAMF Casper Suite of "Self Service" tools. All Mac OS X users can now enroll their SCS Computing Facilities supported Mac to take advantage of this exciting new experience.

The "Self Service" tool gives you the ability to

  • Install applications
  • Upgrade to the latest Mac OS version
  • Easily add networked printers and
  • Keep your Mac running smoothly with user-initiated diagnostic and repair tools

To enroll your Mac in JAMF, please reply to this email with your machine name or asset tag. An email enrollment invitation will be sent to you upon verification of support.

Mac OS X Mavericks also introduces some changes to SCS printing. More information about printing is available here:
