Carnegie Mellon has joined the eduroam world-wide roaming service

eduroam allows Carnegie Mellon students, researchers and staff members to obtain free wireless network connectivity when visiting other participating eduroam institutions. Authentication to the participating institution's wireless network is done using your Andrew email address and password.

Visitors to Carnegie Mellon from an eduroam member institution will be able to obtain Carnegie Mellon wireless network access using their email address and password from their home institution.

For more information about using the eduroam service including a list of member institutions and usage instructions, please visit the Carnegie Mellon eduroam web page at http://www.cmu.edu/computing/network/connect/guests/eduroam.html.
