Critical Windows, Office, and Adobe patches

REMINDER: If you have yet removed Symantec Endpoint Protection from your PC, please do so ASAP. For details, see:

Microsoft has released critical patches for Windows and Office. Adobe has released critical patches for Flash Player. Reader, and Acrobat.

All Windows PCs must be patched

To patch your PC

Click on the update icon on the taskbar.

If you do not have such an icon, run Windows Update by clicking the "Start" button, click "All Programs", and then click "Windows Update".

After patching, you must reboot your PC in order for the patches to take effect.

How to patch Adobe Flash Player

To see your current version of Flash, and the most recent patched version of Flash for your browser, visit:
  https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

If you are using the Flash Player that is installed with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer on Windows 8 or 10, or Microsoft Edge for Windows 10, your version of Flash on that browser will be updated automatically.

To upgrade Flash if you are not using one of the above browsers, download it from:
  https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Each browser that you use to view Flash content will need to be updated.

How to patch Adobe Reader and Acrobat

To update your version of Reader or Acrobat, choose
   Help > Check for Updates
from the application's menu.
