Network Maintenance: Wired & Wireless 1/10/2013

SCS Computing Facilities has received the following service outage notification from Computing Services:

DATE & TIME: January 10, 2013 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Computing Services staff members will perform maintenance work to the university's wired and wireless networks during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED: During the course of this maintenance, you may experience a loss of network connectivity. Therefore, you may not have access to email, Web browsing, and a number of other network-dependent services.

While all campus buildings and areas will experience a wireless network outage during this period, only the buildings in the list below will be affected by the wired network portion of the outage.

  • 300 South Craig St
  • 317-319 South Craig Street
  • 407 South Craig Street
  • 417 South Craig St.(fls-2 3)
  • 6555 Penn Avenue
  • Alumni House
  • Hamburg Hall
  • McGill Hall (dorm)
  • Mellon Institute
  • Morewood Gardens E (dorm)
  • Stever House
  • University Technology Development Center Whitfield Hall Margaret Morrison Plaza

    All other campus buildings not on this list will maintain wired connectivity during this period.
