March 2012 Critical Adobe Flash Player patches
March 9, 2012
On March 5, 2012, Adobe released critical patches for Adobe Flash Player on Windows, Macintoshes, Linux, Solaris and Android.
To patch Flash on non-Android platforms, go to:http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
and upgrade your version of Flash Player to the latest version.
If you view Flash content in both Internet Explorer and another browser, such as Firefox, you will need to patch Flash Player for both types of browsers. Note: Google Chrome should automatically update itself to use the latest version of Flash.
If you are using Flash on Android, see:http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb12-05.html
for update instructions.
To see which version of Flash Player you are running, visit:http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
Please contact help@cs.cmu.edu or call the SCS Help Desk (x8-4231) if you have questions or problems with applying these patches.
Thank you for your attention,
