Network Maintenance: Wired Connections to Internet 8/11/2012

Details:

CMU Computing Services has scheduled a maintenance window to upgrade the operating system on several of their network devices. During this maintenance window, hosts on the SCS wired network will experience a 15 minute loss of connectivity to the Andrew network, commodity Internet, and the research networks. Services which rely on connectivity to these networks will not be available during the outage.

CMU wireless network connectivity, the SCS VPN service, and iPass remote access authentication will not be available during parts of the maintenance window.

Network connectivity within the SCS network should not be affected.
