SCS Kerberos Server Maintenance Scheduled

TIME: 8:00 PM - 11:59 PM

SERVICES AFFECTED: Kerberos administration, password changes, use of the Instance Manager

On Wednesday, September 19, 2012, SCS Computing Facilities will be performing maintenance on the SCS Kerberos servers to transition master KDC and administrative functions to a new server. The maintenance period will take approximately four hours.

During the maintenance period, Kerberos administrative services will be unavailable to the community. These include the ability to change Kerberos passwords and to manage Kerberos instances using the Instance Manager.

Normal login and authentication services will not be affected.
