iPass Maintenance: Maintenance on iPass Networks in China

SCS Computing Facilities has received the following service outage notification from iPass:

(US Eastern Time)

DAY: Friday

DATE & TIME: Starting on August 31, 2012

SERVICE AFFECTED: Multiple; see below.

On Friday, August 31, 2012, the iPass provider in China who uses the networks with the SSIDs CMCC and CMCC-Starbucks will begin maintenance. At this time, there is no known end date for this maintenance.

During the maintenance period, you may not be able to authenticate to iPass on these networks.
