SCS Kerberos Maintenance Scheduled

Service Affected: Kerberos and WebISO authentication services Kerberos password-changing service Instance Manager Jeeves

Details:

On Wednesday, December 15, 2010, SCS Computing Facilities staff will move Kerberos, WebISO, and Jeeves servers to the Gates-Hillman Center machine room. This process will result in a partial outage of these services.

Kerberos administrative services, including password changing, host and service keying, and the instance manager, will be unavailable for the duration of the move. The Jeeves service will also be unavailable during this time. In addition, users may experience intermittent outages or slowdowns of Kerberos and/or WebISO authentication services.
