Maintenance Scheduled for SMTP server for CHOKECHERRY.SRV.CS.CMU.ED

Service Affected: Outgoing Email

SCS Computing Facilities will be performing maintenance on CHOKECHERRY.SRV.CS.CMU.EDU, one of our outgoing SMTP servers. The server will be given a new IP address in accordance with the SCS IP renumbering project.

During this maintenance period, SCS users may experience times when they will be unable to send mail. If you have a problem sending Email during the maintenance period please resend the message(s) after 8:00AM.

Receiving and reading mail will be unaffected. SCS Computing Facilities expects that all mail functions will be fully operational by 8:00 AM.
