Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition Upgrade Scheduled

SCS Facilities has been advised of security vulnerabilities in Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition (SAV CE). A patched upgrade version is now available. All Windows users with SAV CE versions 9.x, 10.0.x, and 10.1.x should upgrade immediately.

On Monday July 23, 2007 SCS Computing Facilities will begin upgrading supported computers automatically (provided they are on the SCS network, of course). In addition, users may install the patch manually: to do so, use the SCS-customized installer located here: \\monolith\pc_dist\symantec\v10.1.5.
