Emergency Shutdown of Non-Facilities (project) machines

Service Affected: SCS Machine Room Servers

Details:

Due to a major break in the water system from Heron Hill to Oakland and downtown today the CMU chilled water system is losing pressure and the temperature in the Wean Hall machine room (Wean Hall 3613) is rising. SCS Computing Facilities will begin shutting down Non-Facilities (project) machines at 4:40PM August 30, 2007.
