Kerberos Administration Service Outage Scheduled

TIME: 9:00PM - 11:00PM EST

AFFECTED: All SCS users

DETAILS:

An outage has been scheduled for the Kerberos administration and password changing services. This outage is necessary to allow preventive maintenance on the Kerberos servers. During the announced outage window, users will be unable to change Kerberos passwords or perform other Kerberos administrative activities such as creating new instances.

In addition, the Kerberos master KDC may be completely disabled for short periods of time, which will result in slower-than-usual response time for logins and authentication to network services.
