Service Interruption--AFS Access

The following announcement is made by SCS Computing Facilities:

Subject: Service Interruption--AFS Access (updated)

Time of Event: 11:00 am

Service Affected: There have been intermittent AFS service interruptions over the course of the last week. We've been monitoring and debugging the problem since it was first reported. At this time we believe the service is stable, and we're taking steps to insure this problem does not recur. However, should you experience any unusual behavior with AFS or other services within the computing environment, please let us know any time of day by phone (268.4231), if possible, or by email at help+@cs.cmu.edu.
