Emergency Shutdown of SCS Computing Facilities Core Services

Service Affected: All SCS Computing Facilities Core Services


Due to a major break in the water system from Heron Hill to Oakland and downtown today the CMU chilled water system is losing pressure and the temperature in the Wean Hall machine room (Wean Hall 3613) is rising. SCS Computing Facilities will begin shutting down all Core Services at XXXXPM August 30, 2007.
