Critical Adobe Updates
October 26, 2007
Adobe has released updates for the Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat product families. The update addresses a URI handling vulnerability in Microsoft Windows XP and Server 2003 systems running Internet Explorer 7.
Adobe strongly recommends upgrading to Adobe Reader 8.1.1 or Acrobat 8.1.1. Users can utilize the product's automatic update facility to update the software. The default installation configuration runs automatic updates on a regular schedule, and can be manually activated within each application by choosing Help > Check For Updates Now.
