Emergency SCS Network Outage of the 2nd Floor of 300 South Craig St.

AREA AFFECTED: 2nd Floor of 300 South Craig Street

An emergency reboot of the 300 South Craig Street SCS router will be done in order to install a new version of the operating system. The new operating system installation is in response to the recent vulnerabilities announced by Cisco. All wired network connectivity on the 2nd floor of 300 South Craig Street will be unavailable during the reboot. We expect SCS wired network connectivity to resume shortly after 6:00PM.

Any compilations or experiments that utilize wired network resources will be affected during this Outage period.

CMU wireless connectivity will not be affected by the reboot.
