Campus Network Scheduled Maintenance

CS Computing Facilities has received the following information from campus network services.

TIME: 5 - 6 a.m.

AREAS AFFECTED:

Commodity Internet and Internet2 (Abilene)

SERVICES AFFECTED:

Brief Internet access interruptions will occur through this maintenance window.

SERVICES NOT AFFECTED:

Internal Carnegie Mellon network resources.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:

During this regularly scheduled maintenance window, Computing Services' Network Group will change Internet border routers. These changes will improve Carnegie Mellon's Internet redundancy. The work will result in brief Internet outages.
