Service Outage: Emergency IMAP Server Downtime 9/10/05

The following announcement is made by SCS Computing Facilities:

SCS Computing Facilities announces an emergency maintenance downtime for the IMAP mail servers this coming Saturday, September 10, from 9:00 A.M. through 9:30 A.M. During this downtime, IMAP mail users may experience difficulty accessing email stored on the IMAP servers, and may be disconnected from the servers if they have an e-mail client actively accessing the server.

If you experience problems connecting to, or reading mail from, the IMAP servers during the scheduled maintenance period, you should try reconnecting to the server after 9:30 A.M. If you experience problems with the IMAP mail services after the scheduled maintenance window, please contact the SCS Help Desk at 412-268-4231 or SCS Operations at 412-268-2608.
