SCS web servers upgraded

September 22, 2003

Faster processors, increased RAM, upgraded OS and web server software, as well as increases in the AFS cache disk partition from 110 MB to 2.5Gig will ensure that we keep up with the ever increasing demands of HTTP requests as our user base continues to grow. Security for web services has been enhanced with the addition of WebISO support, which allows users to gain authenticated access to web services using their CS.CMU.EDU, ANDREW.CMU.EDU, or ECE.CMU.EDU Kerberos credentials.
