VPN Certificate Update

You will need administrator or root privileges to perform many of these steps.

The procedure will update the SCS profile and the certificates used with the SCS profile.

Update Steps for Windows-XP

1. Download the Certificate/Profile update script for Windows XP:
   • Windows Certificate/Profile Update file (.exe file, about 584 KB) This file contains the Windows certificate/profile update script.
   • README for Certificate/Profile update script. This text file contains installation instructions for the Windows certificate/profile update script.
2. Follow the installation instructions in README. This file contains instructions on running the certificate/profile update script.

Update Steps For MacOS

1. Download the Certificate/Profile update script for MacOS:
   • MacOS Certificate/Profile Update file (tar file, about 10 KB) This file contains the MacOS certificate/profile update script.
   • README for Certificate/Profile update script. This text file contains installation instructions for the MacOS certificate/profile update script.
2. Unpack the tar file. This will create a file called cert-update containing the update script.
3. Follow the installation instructions in README. This file contains instructions on running the certificate/profile update script.

Update Steps For Linux

1. Download the Certificate/Profile update script for Linux:
   • Linux Certificate/Profile Update file (tar file, about 20 KB) This file contains the Linux certificate/profile update script.
   • README for Certificate/Profile update script. This text file contains installation instructions for the Linux certificate/profile update script.
