iPass Open Mobile Client

The Open Mobile Client is an always-on client that runs on Windows, Macs, iPhones, iPads and Android devices. You can use this client to connect to iPass capable and non-iPass capable wired, wireless, 3G, 4G, and Dial-up networks. This includes home networks and free wireless networks.

The test profile has the auto-connect feature disabled so the ipass client will not automatically try to connect to a network. This feature is disabled so the client does not automatically try to connect to free or home networks. However, the user can manually use the client to connect to a non-ipass capable network. The monthly user count would increment the first time a user connected to their home network, the CMU wireless network, or any free network using the client.
