OS X Yosemite Compatibility

Before installing or upgrading to OS X Yosemite, please consult the table below to confirm that the software and services you use are compatible. Please contact the SCS Help Desk with any questions about your OS X Yosemite machine in the SCS environment.

  • Exchange users: Subfolders of the Inbox may not be shown, all other folders should be shown properly. Workaround: To display subfolders of your Inbox, log in to Outlook Web Access and create a new folder as a subfolder of your Inbox. Mac Mail should show this folder and all other subfolders. (Deleting the new subfolder you created will cause Mac Mail to stop showing all subfolders of the Inbox again.)

  • If you have printed to SCS printers prior to upgrading to Yosemite: You must remove any entries in Keychain that correspond to SCS printers. The next time you print, you will be prompted to authenticate. When prompted, use SCS\username and your SCS Windows password.
  • If installing SCS printers for the first time: Please follow the instructions for adding SCS printers manually.
