Mac OS X Baseline Software

All Macs built by SCS Computing Facilities will be deployed with the following baseline software:

  • Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.x)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Microsoft Office (Office 2011)
  • iLife
  • iWork
  • Symantec Anti Virus software
  • Fetch
  • Firefox
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional (if requested)
  • Tibs backup client (if requested)
  • VPN client (installed on laptops)

Additional Services

In addition, the JAMF Casper Suite will be installed on new Mac builds. JAMF Casper Suite enables the delivery of premium support options including the ability to launch simple user-directed OS upgrades, access to Apple's self repair and diagnostic utilities and more.
