Microsoft Windows Systems and Timezone Changes

Microsoft has released Windows, Exchange, and Outlook updates to address the changes in Daylight Savings Time for 2007.

Supported Windows PCs

• SCS Facilities will release updates the evening of Sunday, February 4th, to correct DST.
• Windows XP SP2 PCs will be updated via the usual WSUS system. No reboot is required, so there should be no interruption for users.
• Windows XP SP1 and Windows 2000 PCs will be updated via script. No reboot is required, so there should be no interruptions.
• PCs configured as exempt from WSUS patching will not be updated.
