Install Citrix Receiver for Linux (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS)

To install Citrix Receiver on your Ubuntu 12.04 (Dragon) machine, please follow the steps below. Please note that you'll need root access to perform this installation.

  1. Open Terminal
  2. Run this command: sudo apt-get install icaclient
  3. Select Yes to accept the End User License Agreement

Once you have installed the icaclient package, you're ready to use Citrix Receiver. To access your applications, please follow these steps:

  1. In your Web browser, browse to https://myapps.andrew.cmu.edu
  2. Enter your Andrew UserID and Password and click Log On
  3. Click on an application from the Main screen to open it
