For the list few years, I've been carrying a GPS tracker during my ski trips. In addition to geotagging my photos, it's also nice for recording my tracks on the mountain.
2012: Park City
In 2012 we went to Park City, skiing at Park City Resort and Deer Valley. They were a bit short of snow, and The Canyons was worst hit, so we didn't ski it this year.
2011: Beaver Creek and Vail
In 2011, we stayed at Beaver Creek. I couldn't resist going to Vail for a day because it's the best ski resort in the world.
In 2010 we went to Vail, my favorite resort in the world. Just can't get enough of those back bowls.
In 2009, we went to Steamboat
In 2008, we went to Whistler. This is my second favorite resort of all the ones we've skiid. This place is just HUGE! It was my first time skiing with my Surefoot boots, and I also took my first lesson in years on this trip. Oddly enough, the last lesson I'd taken was also at Whistler, around 2002 or so. The goals of the lesson were to learn the right way to ski with shaped skis (only my second year using them after retiring my old 185 cm Atomic's), and to learn the right way to ski bumps. I've been somewhat successful with them since.
