This page contains some links and information about the research area of Computer Audition. I use the term "Computer Audition" to refer to any algorithms, techniques and systems that extract information from non-speech audio signals (similarly to the term Computer Vision). Other terms used in the published literature with slightly different connotations are "Computational Auditory Scence Analysis", "Machine Listening", and "Audio Information Retrieval". This information has been compiled for my own research purposes and is provided with the hope that they will be useful to other researchers. Please don't hesitate to email me any comments (especially corrections/additions).
