Last Year's Web Site (Archive)

For those of you who are interested, an archive of last fall's instance of 15-412 is available via the Web: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~412

This site is just a "random site on the Web". We don't guarantee that it will be applicable to this semester -- in fact, many things will change. But it does contain some information that some people might want -- an old midterm with answers, old homework questions with answers, old grading criteria for projects, &c.

But, again, please remember that things can (and will) change. As always, if you have any questions, please ask!

Project Discussion

Today's notes were largely incorporated into the handout for Project #1. It contains not only the assignment specification, but the notes for the associated lecture material. The project description as well as the source code examples I showed in class and a FAQ based on the questions from last year's class can be found via the Project 1 Page.

Please remember to register your groups on or before the deadline. I'll be creating submission directories shortly thereafter. Of course, you are always welcome to extend this deadline as outlined in the course syllabus -- but, I suspect you've got better uses for an extension :-)
